Yea Man, That's My History by Steve Dycus
In the early summer of 1844 The Prophet Joseph Smith was shot and fell from a second story window of an Illinois jail. He did not survive. Nearly 180 years later his grave is found blown open and a man calling himself Joe suddenly appears, both in internet videos and in the flesh to anyone who wants to come join him. This time, however, he seems less interested in establishing strict doctrine and seems to be reaching out to people trapped in the system he created nearly two centuries ago. Particularly young missionaries. Many leave their assigned duties to flock to this new incarnation of the man they were taught to revere, despite the friction and volatile interactions that causes between the youth, their families, and the wealthy, powerful organization that has grown out of Smith’s 19th Century visions. Visions Joe wants to maybe clarify and even revise.
