My Story

My name is Lindsay Schultz and I am the founder of The Spine Bookshop, and I have always had a deep love for reading. This passion for books led me to establish my own bookstore, which I take great pride in. I am thrilled to be able to offer the community of Smyrna a locally-owned bookshop, where I can share my love of reading with others. Seeing the joy on my customers' faces when they find the perfect book is one of my greatest accomplishments. I am dedicated to fostering a love of reading and I continue to curate a diverse selection of books for my customers.

My educational background includes a BA in English from MTSU and an MBA from Strayer University, which I pursued with the goal of becoming a small business owner.

When I'm not immersed in the world of books, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful daughter, supportive husband, and two playful dogs. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences, and I am available for speaking events and panel discussions. My expertise has also been recognized by platforms such as BehindNashville.com and CanvasRebel.com, and several news and radio stations, where I have been featured in interviews.
